District of No.2 located in Asalem forests was selected in order to study the relationship between diameter and dependent variables. In addition to this, the percentage of industrial and cordwood volumes in beech stand was determined in the given area. All data were extracted from volume measurement of beech species regarding cut and renewal volume permit. The number of measured trees was 1163. Percent of industrial and cordwood of trees was calculated for various diameter classes. Different models were fitted and then the best models were selected using SAS software. The results showed that among the suggested models, the parabolic ones had the highest correlation. According to the models, a local volume table was prepared and presented. Due to possible damages to the trees with DBH less than 35 cm in operation of trees, the percentage of industrial volume has decreased in the given diameter classes. It is also worth mentioning that with increasing diameter classes up to 80 cm diameter at breast height, percentage of industrial volume increased and then reduced.
