Forest inventories that are implemented based on systematic random sample design in north forests, are the base for all forestry planning and management of north forests. Unfortunately, there is no effective and flexible system for analyzing and processing of this huge inventory information that are collected by Forests and Rangeland Organization of Iran. Therefore, it is felt that there is an urgent need for the forestry sector in Iran to organize its huge mass of inventory information and dissemination activities under a unifying. To facilitate in storage, processing and delivery of inventory information of north forest, a database for inventory data by using of Entity – relationship data model was designed. Access software was used to implement the entity- relationship data model or physical design of database system. The designed system was included several components or sub-system such as inventories, plots, stand status, trees, witness trees and regenerations. The system can provide inventory data and information requirements for forestry surveys and can be used as a base for providing of forestry plans
