Iran is one of the most important centers of plant diversity in the old world and there are nearly 22 percent of endemic plant species. Identifying elements of vegetation in an area is considered as principle of the ecological research study for management and conservation of plants. Nekaroud basin is located in the north of the country between the provinces of Mazandaran and Golestan. In this research Flora, life form, Geographical Distribution an endemic state were studied so, 38 family and 107 species recognized. The most species were 16 species belong to Poaceae. 10 species Compositeae, 11 species Fabaceae, 10 species Labiateae, 10 species Rosaceae and 5 species were identified as Brassicaceae family. Life form recognized by rankiaer method and included Pha 21% - Thr 24% - Cha 10% - Geo 5% - Hem 36% - Cry 1%. The result showed that most species of perennial species adapted to the climatic conditions of the region. Due to disturbance and heavy grazing, the conditions were suited for the establishment of annual unpalatable plants and invader specie and they are located in a temporary habitat.
